| Born in the Niagara Cottage Hospital. Emmelene worked at Greaves Marmalade, Niagara on the Lake & Thompson Products, St. Catharines. She worked at Fort George for several summers and also at the Niagara on the Lake Post Office for a number of years. Emmelene was very active with the senior citizens of Niagara on the Lake. She was named citizen of the year in 1984 and also received the Ontario Medal for Volunteers the same year. She was the Grand Marshall of the Santa Claus Parade, also in 1984. |
